We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outpatient pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and a consistent employment history.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (day shift; may vary slightly/flex as needed). 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and prescription processing.
• Enter and maintain prescription and patient information accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and medication stocking.
• Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional and courteous support to patients and pharmacy staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience.
• PA Pharmacy Registration required.
• PTCB or CPHT certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates should demonstrate employment stability and longevity; frequent job changes/job hopping may be a concern.

Preferred Qualifications

• Local candidates given priority.
• Previous experience in a hospital or health-system outpatient pharmacy.
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems.

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
