Responsibilities

  • Compound, prepare, mix, manufacture and dispense medications using a high level of technical and organizational skills.
  • Exercise critical thinking to ensure accuracy, safety and appropriate dispensing of medicines.
  • Oversee proper handling, usage and storage of drugs within the pharmacy and maintain departmental standards.
  • Translate policies and procedures into daily operations and clinical activities to support patient care.
  • Supervise and train assigned technical personnel and assume responsibility for technical support activities within the pharmacy department.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacist license (as required by state regulations) and the ability to meet licensure requirements for practice in Oregon.
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent professional education.
  • Experience as a senior pharmacist or in a hospital pharmacy setting; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with compounding, dispensing and drug storage practices; familiarity with regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work in a hospital pharmacy environment with varied shift patterns.

Weekly pay: $2,865–$3,050 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied shifts, 8-hour blocks totaling 40 hours per week Start date: 07/27/2026 Work setting: Hospital-based, travel assignment.
