About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a 12-week position in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care services in an acute care setting
- Administer medications according to physician orders and hospital policies
- Monitor patients' responses to medications and report any adverse reactions
- Document all patient interactions and medication administration accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay updated on best practices
Requirements
- Current Kentucky Pharmacy License
- 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, days
- 1+ years recent acute care experience
- Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
