Minimum Requirements

  • Must have State License to Apply
  • 6 months Pharmacist experience preferred
  • Must have current and active MO license in good standing prior to submittal

Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 0730-1600
  • Schedule includes day and evening coverage
  • Every other weekend required
  • 40 hours per week
  • No overnight shifts
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating: none

Required Duties

  • Refilling Pyxis machines
  • Filling first doses
  • IV sterile compounding
  • Non-sterile compounding
  • Packaging UD medications
  • Answering phones
  • Assisting the pharmacist
  • Refilling code blue trays

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Location

Independence, Missouri offers access to both historic attractions and outdoor recreation. The city is home to the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum and the historic Independence Square, giving travelers a central location with established dining and cultural stops. Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium are about 20 minutes away in Kansas City, and downtown Kansas City is within a short drive for museums, nightlife, and major events. Fleming Park and Lake Jacomo are nearby for boating, trails, and waterfront views, while access to Interstate 70 supports commuting across the eastern Kansas City metro.
