Travel Pharmacist - $2,752 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Clinic Pharmacist for a contract position in Independence, Missouri. The assignment begins 10/12/2026, lasts 26 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. This is a travel Allied Health Professional role specializing in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Actively coordinate, on a day‑to‑day basis, the provision of high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospital patients in compliance with federal and state legal/regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
• Participate in multiple drug distribution functions, including computerized order entry and/or prospective review and verification of physicians’ orders, IV admixture preparation, etc.
• Perform defined clinical/cognitive activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes under the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives, which involve active communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to clarify or change orders and documentation of intervention outcomes.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state of application, or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.
