Travel Pharmacist - $2,431 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Pharmacist for a 13‑week travel contract in New Braunfels, Texas. The assignment starts 11/08/2026, runs 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Preferred: 2 years experience in a hospital setting
• Pharmacist licensure in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day provision of high‑quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospital patients in compliance with federal and state legal/regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
• Perform multiple drug distribution functions, including computerized order entry, prospective review and verification of physicians’ orders, and IV admixture preparation.
• Execute defined clinical/cognitive activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes under Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives — actively communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to clarify or modify orders and documenting intervention outcomes.

Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing. The pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
