Travel Perioperative / PACU RN - $2,504 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN will assist in recovering patients from anesthesia, monitor them while they wake up from surgery, and ensure they are safely released—either by discharge to outpatient care or transfer to an inpatient unit. The role involves providing care for post-operative patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia, treating both inpatients and outpatients according to their needs. Responsibilities include diligent monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia and monitor them during post-operative wake-up.
• Provide care for patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Treat both inpatients and outpatients based on their individual needs.
• Administer diligent care through monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
• Release patients either by discharge to outpatient care or transfer to an inpatient unit.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
