TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel nursing job in Elmira, New York. Specialty: Pediatrics, Discipline: RN, Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, Shift: 12 hours nights, Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to patients.
• Help patients to be comfortable with examination and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in the pediatric and adolescent patient populations.
• Assist treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients' family members.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
• 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely; up to 50 pounds when moving patients

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
