Job Details

Pediatric RN position working 32 hours during night shifts. Every other weekend schedule.

Job Requirements

• BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military)
• Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
• MGB Nurse Aide Registry check required within 30 days of start.
• MGB Spaulding Orientation Summary required.
• N95 Fit Test within 365 days to start date and updated annually; no exemptions allowed.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required.
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• Physician Health Statement within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
• Two references within 4 years required, minimum one supervisor or above in skillset.
• MGB Skills Checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
• MGB Education Verification required.
• MGB SSN Trace required with Criminal Check.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually.

Schedule Information

• 32 hours per week night shifts from 23:00 to 07:30.
• Every other weekend schedule.

Additional Details

• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred but optional.
• Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years and updated upon expiration.
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation.
• MGB Name Change Documentation optional if legal name differs from credential documentation.
• MGB TB Symptom Survey required if positive PPD, updated annually.
• MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for initial assignment submissions.
