Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - NICU - $1,615 per week

About the role

Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Richmond, VA. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The position requires a compassionate and fast-paced approach to meet the needs of critically ill children, ensuring they receive optimal respiratory support.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a Level III NICU.
• Administer nebulizer treatments, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Participate in call approximately once every 5‑6 weeks with rotating weekends.
• Maintain a fast‑paced, compassionate approach to support critically ill children.

Requirements

• Current Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential.
• Virginia State License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience, with preference for NICU or pediatric ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Level III or higher NICU experience.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
