Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - NICU - $1,540 per week

About the role

Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) - The organization is seeking a qualified respiratory therapist to support a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal patients, including ventilator management, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, surfactant administration, blood gas analysis, and nitric oxide therapy. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• High-risk delivery attendance
• Ventilator management (including Drager VN500 ventilators)
• High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (3100A Oscillators)
• Surfactant administration
• Blood gas analysis
• Nitric oxide therapy (Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide)
• Use of Vapotherms

Requirements

• Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• 3‑5 years of Level 2 NICU or higher experience
• NRP certification required

Qualifications

• STABLE certification highly preferred

Schedule

• Night shift
• 12‑hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis
