This position involves providing life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy to patients. The role requires performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for patients in Intensive Care and General Practice Units, with supervision of assigned staff and effective communication with healthcare team members. Job Details Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Current registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care; Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal experience Responsibilities include delivering life support and medical gases, documenting patient care, supervising and delegating to Respiratory Therapists, and completing accurate patient billing documentation. Certifications: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT credential) registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care Additional Information: Experience working in Trauma Level 2 facilities and neonatal intensive care are advantages but not required.
