Responsibilities
- Provide specialized pediatric perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric surgical patients
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and Joint Commission requirements
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in pediatric perioperative/operating room nursing
- Current BLS certification (ACLS may be required depending on facility)
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
