Travel Pediatric Hem/Onc/BMT RN - $2,061 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13‑week assignment in Portland, Oregon. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. As an Oncology RN you will provide top‑level care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement symptom‑treatment methods, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, coordinate treatment plans, and support patients under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking
• Serve as a reliable source of comfort and support for cancer patients and their families
• Attend to numerous details while working under pressure
• Implement best‑practice treatment protocols in various settings
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Easily lift 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when moving patients
• Manage hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases

Requirements

• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• CHEMO certification
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
