Travel Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN - $2,324 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing position in a hospital setting, focusing on pediatric critical care. The role involves floating to various pediatric units and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Float to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, peds med-surg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby.
• Provide patient care for pediatric patients with PICU and NICU experience.
• Work nights in a float pool setting, covering different pediatric units as needed.
• Follow UVA’s float policy and adhere to safety and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requirements

• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 2 years of PICU experience required.
• Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification.
• Epic experience required.
• Must adhere to UVA’s float policy.
• Virginia license pending.
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks, starting 09/14/2026.

Pay

Pay range: $2,223.72 - $2,334.91 per week.
