Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a catheterization laboratory setting.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and monitoring vital signs.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current certification in PALS, BLS, and ACLS.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in Level I Trauma and/or Pediatric Cath Lab, with experience in transplant, R/L biopsy, balloon stent, valve placement, and IR (preferably pediatric).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical technologist program.
• Current registration as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Cardiac Sonographer (CS) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
