About the role
The successful candidate will provide support to the interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in the catheterization laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate equipment used in the catheterization laboratory
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
