About the role
The travel Cath Lab Technologist position at St. Josephs Hospital - Baycare Health System requires a Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist and Discipline: Allied Health Professional. The start date is August 10, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, working 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization laboratories
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust settings accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals during procedures
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal training program in cardiac catheterization technology
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
