Travel Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer - $2,524 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Pediatric Echocardiography for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The start date is August 3, 2026, and the duration is 40 hours per week for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a women’s hospital setting with neonatal echocardiography experience
• Provide care to neonates and pediatric patients
• Perform 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• No routine float or weekend shifts required
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotation alongside full-time staff
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech
• Neonatal echocardiography experience required
• ARDMS or CCI certification required
• NM license required if applicable

Qualifications

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
