Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications
- Assist with cardiac procedures
- Observe patient reactions
- Respond to emergencies
- Document assessments
- Educate patients on cardiac health
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Ensure patient safety and confidentiality
- Monitor telemetry data
- Administer treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Requirements
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred: PCCN and NIHSS certifications
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English and PC skills
- Physical ability to perform duties
- Ability to handle fast-paced, detailed work
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
