About the Role

Provides specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care, requiring vigilant monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer treatments and assist with cardiac procedures
• Assess patient needs and document health status
• Respond to emergencies
• Educate patients on cardiac health
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
• Interpret telemetry data and manage complex patient needs
• Provide life-saving interventions
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality

Requirements

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking and excellent communication skills
• Physical dexterity and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• PCCN certification
• NIHSS certification
