About the Role
A Travel Stepdown RN is responsible for caring for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications
- Assist with cardiac procedures
- Record patient conditions
- Respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care
- Initiate patient education on cardiac health
- Maintain confidentiality
- Adhere to safety protocols
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent Stepdown RN experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- PCCN certification
- NIHSS certification
