About the Role
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Olathe, Kansas. This assignment lasts 16 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 13, 2026.
Job Details
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Total Weekly Hours: 36
- Trauma Level: Facility Specific
- Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires required (patient ratios are 3:1 or 4:1 tops)
Requirements
- 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience (strong critical thinking skills required)
- Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing own labs
- Comfortable without a vascular access team, calling own consults, and conducting own codes
- KS RN or Compact RN License
- BLS, ACLS, & NIH certifications
Floating Requirements
- Will be expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units – Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience
