Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Quincy, Illinois. The position offers 48 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night shifts. The specialty is PCU - Progressive Care Unit, and the duration is 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Assist with daily patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of one year of progressive care unit experience.
• ACLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with automated charting systems.
