Schedule

• 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts
• Daytime hours: 07:00 to 19:30
• Weekend and holiday rotations required
• May float between all hospital campuses as needed

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our high-functioning Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves managing multiple long-term patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5
• Perform EKG interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Administer IV medications, including titrating drips for cardiac and vasoactive support
• Provide peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Experience in cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias
• Ability to handle complex patient care situations effectively

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
