About the Role

The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Surgery Unit 2 (3EA) at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital provides care for patients with trauma, sepsis, stroke, cardiac, hematology/oncology, and medical‑surgical diagnoses. Nurse‑to‑patient ratios are 1:4‑5. This is a travel nursing assignment located in Virginia Beach, VA, offering beaches, a lively boardwalk, and a welcoming community.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with PCU experience
• Minimum 18 months of progressive care unit RN experience within the last 3 years (required qualification lists 2 years)
• Certifications: BLS‑AHA, ACLS‑AHA, NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and float as needed
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Preferred: Compact RN license in‑hand, previous travel experience, EPIC EMR familiarity
