About the Role

Travel RN PCU job at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Surgery Unit 2 (3EA) provides care for patients with trauma, sepsis, stroke, cardiac, hematology/oncology, and medical-surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care nursing in a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work 12-hour night shifts
• Float as needed
• Wear navy blue scrubs

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of progressive care unit RN experience within the last 3 years
• Registered Nurse, PCU with 2 years of experience
• Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with BIPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, Plum360 IV pumps, tele interpretation
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Holidays and weekends required

• Compact RN License In-Hand
• Previous Travel Experience
• EPIC EMR

Pay

Pay Rate: $2482.00 - $2609.00
