Travel PCU RN - $2,530 per week

About the Role

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, a large tertiary care facility known for its Magnet nursing excellence and Level I trauma center, seeks a travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This 13-week assignment offers night shifts in a collaborative environment specializing in heart and vascular care, neurosciences, and advanced imaging.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients post-cardiac surgery and post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Manage drips including vasopressin, nitroglycerin, antiarrhythmics, insulin, and heparin
• Work with epicardial pacer boxes, tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and chest tubes
• Float as needed

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 18 months of PCU RN experience within the last 3 years (2 years preferred)
• BLS-AHA certification
• ACLS-AHA certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Availability for holidays and weekends
• Navy blue scrub color

Preferred Qualifications

• Compact RN license in-hand
• Previous travel experience
• EPIC EMR experience

Pay

$2467.00 - $2593.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
