The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, critical environment. Unit Information Unit: Intermediate Care Unit Common Diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory issues such as COPD, DKA, Sepsis, Myocardial Infarction, CV stepdown, and Post-operative care Specialty Equipment: Temp pacemakers, Chest tubes, Arterial lines, BiPAP machines, and Neptune Vapo Ventilator Management: Experience with chronic ventilators and collaborative support from respiratory therapy is required Patient Demographics: 18 years and older, adult patients Number of Beds: 64 beds with 15 designated for Neuro patients Shift Details Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Floating: Required to different units as necessary Scrub Color: Navy Blue Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU and travel experience Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications Active New York State nursing license and verification through NURSYS Proficient in the use of EPIC EMR system If you are passionate about patient care and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position in a dynamic healthcare environment.Thrive Staffing Job ID #19357402.
