Travel PCU RN - $2,297 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of 08/30/2026, offering 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment
• Educate patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge
• Ensure safe, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory and quality standards
• Supervise and delegate to licensed and unlicensed staff
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Mentor and precept staff while promoting teamwork and professional development

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ASN) required
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
