Travel PCU RN - $2,271 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. The assignment starts 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who require close monitoring but are not unstable enough for ICU care.
• Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital signs, detect changes, and enable intervention for life‑threatening or emergency situations.
• Administer and titrate complex medications based on patient vital signs.
• Provide care for cardiac step‑down, medical step‑down, neuro step‑down, surgical step‑down, and ER holding patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step‑down setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
