About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PCU/Stepdown assignment in Sioux City, Iowa. The assignment lasts approximately 13.14 weeks, starting October 12, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of PCU/Stepdown RN experience (first‑time travelers considered).
• Active Iowa nursing license or compact license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military also accepted).
• Completion of a Supervisory Reference Form within the last two years.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to float to the ED and all inpatient areas.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Ability to complete a PCU‑specific skills checklist.

Skills

• PCU/Stepdown clinical skills (as defined by the facility’s skills checklist).
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (preferred).
