Travel PCU RN - $2,149 per week

About the Role

NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Kearney, Nebraska. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients transitioning from intensive care to general care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements

• Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in PCU or stepdown unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in progressive care nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Pay Range: $1859.67 - $2187.85 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
