Travel PCU RN - $2,134 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Akron, Ohio.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with a night shift schedule of 19:00 to 07:00. The position requires a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in PCU or Stepdown units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU/Stepdown patients during night shifts.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, recognizing critical patterns quickly.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Complete required assessments and documentation during each shift.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with acceptable scores required.

Pay

Pay range: $2,042.32 - $2,144.44 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
