About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment at a 130‑bed hospital in Tacoma, Washington. You will deliver progressive care to patients, assess, monitor, and document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced, technology‑rich environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care to patients in a 130‑bed hospital with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient care using EMR systems.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including telemetry monitoring when needed.
• Maintain a high level of clinical assessment and communication throughout the 12‑hour night shifts.

Requirements

• Active Washington RN license or a multi‑state compact RN license.
• 1–2 years of recent PCU or step‑down nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring is recommended.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,078.00 – $2,184.00 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• 13‑week assignment.
• Start date: 10/19/2026.
