Travel PCU RN - $2,018 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role focuses on cardiac telemetry, requiring experience with cardiac patient management (congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias) and secondary experience with respiratory conditions such as COPD and pneumonia. The assignment is a 13‑week contract beginning October 5, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assess cardiac telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac telemetry.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• EPIC charting system experience required.
• Experience managing congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and respiratory problems such as COPD and pneumonia.
