Travel PCU RN - $2,007 per week

About the role

The Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-level care to multiple long-term patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires expertise in managing the complexity of various patient diagnoses while adhering to a patient ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and other vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage drips, including titration.
• Provide care for patients requiring peripheral line management and PICC line management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient management.
• Assist with isolation precautions and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Perform other duties as required, including floating between Cone Health campuses when necessary.

Requirements

• Two years of nursing experience in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification are required.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred.
• Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Cardiac telemetry experience is mandatory.

Pay & Schedule

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
