About the Role
Outstanding PCU unit, based in exciting Asheville, is looking for the right RN to join their team. 700+ bed Level 2 Trauma center. Known for its thriving arts community and natural beauty, the city of Asheville is located in western North Carolina along the Blue Mountains.
Responsibilities
- Provide progressive care nursing services in a PCU/step-down setting
- Manage patients requiring telemetry and close monitoring
- Care for post-surgical patients including those with CV surgery and vascular surgery backgrounds
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, PCU Experience: 2 years
- Licenses: RN (Compact Accepted) (Copy needed)
- Certifications: ACLS
- SSN Required
- DOB Required
- Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
Preferred Qualifications
- Cerner
- Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year
- CVICU experience
