Travel PCU RN - $1,928 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 23-bed step down and 16-bed medical-surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for caring for stable vented patients, managing trach care, chest tubes, and wound dressing changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a step down and medical-surgical environment.
• Assist with trach care, chest tubes, and wound dressing changes.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:3-4 for step down and 1:4-6 for med surg.
• Utilize equipment such as lifts, cardiac drips, and monitor stable vented patients.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience working with trach patients is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
