Travel PCU RN - $1,925 per week

About the role

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The unit comprises 44 beds and operates with 95 staff members, including charge nurses, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and health unit coordinators. The RN will play a vital role in providing high-quality care for patients requiring neuro and trauma care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks.
• Perform C-Collar placements and TLSO brace applications.
• Manage and administer blood transfusions and IV infusions.
• Utilize equipment such as IV pumps, PCA pumps, and chest tubes.
• Assist with feeding tube placements and lumbar drains.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification are required.
• Experience in neuro and trauma care is preferred.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
