About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit in Asheville, NC. The unit comprises 44 beds and is staffed with 95 team members, including charge nurses, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and health unit coordinators. This is a 13-week contract travel position with a shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform neuro and spinal checks
- Manage C-Collar and TLSO brace placements
- Administer chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions
- Conduct lumbar drain operations and feeding tube placements
- Facilitate blood transfusions as required
Requirements
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
