Travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit position in Florence, South Carolina. Start date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel.

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit, managing patients with varying degrees of acuity. The nurse will work within a ratio of 1:4, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage telemetric data.
• Provide care for patients post-surgery and during critical care recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and wellness.

Requirements

• 2 years of nursing experience, preferred in Stepdown or ICU.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• NIHSS certification is preferred.
