About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Millcreek, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Perform telemetry interpretation and manage cardiac, neuro, and Progressive Care Unit patients (RN)
- Provide patient-centered care, including hourly rounding and bedside shift reports
- Participate in rapid response activations and manage vasoactive drips, chest tubes, and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Apply management of vasoactive drips (within PCU/IMC scope), chest tubes, and high-flow oxygen therapy

Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an RN
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Advanced skills needed: Management of vasoactive drips (within PCU/IMC scope), Chest tubes, High-flow oxygen therapy, Bipap, Cpap, Post-cardiac procedure patients, Rapid response participation
- Valid RN license
- Willing to obtain Utah state licensure

- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in PCU

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
