About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform assigned duties and responsibilities according to established protocols.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (certifications vary by location – job may require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)).
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent experience in area of specialty listed on job.
- Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS).
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
