About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position in the Acute Care Unit. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across various levels of acuity, from medical/surgical to ICU.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and manage patient care.
- Perform standard procedures such as IV starts, EKG monitoring, and wound care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification completed by the end of orientation.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred, especially in ICU or Med-Surg.
Schedule
- 13-week contract.
- 36 hours per week.
- 12-hour shifts, nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).
