About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position in the Acute Care Unit. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across various levels of acuity, from medical/surgical to ICU.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor vital signs and manage patient care.
  • Perform standard procedures such as IV starts, EKG monitoring, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification completed by the end of orientation.
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred, especially in ICU or Med-Surg.

Schedule

  • 13-week contract.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • 12-hour shifts, nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).
