Pay

$3,234 to $3,463 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 4 × 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse on nights and weekends

Responsibilities & Skills

• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac)
• Care of patients with cerebrovascular accident (CVA)
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin protocols
• High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (with and without titration)
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration (including tanks)
• Non-invasive airway management
• Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
• PCU/DOU/IMC/Step-down unit experience
• Peripheral and PICC line care/management
• Care of patients with renal failure
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote)
• Care of patients with seizure disorders
• Use of rapid response/code teams
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Wound care and wound-vac management

Requirements

• 1 year of PCU Registered Nurse experience
• ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications
• Charting experience with Epic
