Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,123 per week
About the Role
Travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit position in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM). Candidates with oncology experience are preferred.
Staff are required to complete the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to administer vesicant chemotherapy. After completing a unit-based oncology course and orientation, staff may administer non-vesicant chemotherapy. Travel nurses without ONS course completion or OCN certification will not be assigned patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Complete required oncology training, including the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course.
- Administer vesicant and non-vesicant chemotherapy as qualified.
Requirements
- RN license.
- Experience in a PCU or similar unit.
- Oncology experience is beneficial.
- Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or OCN certification for chemotherapy administration.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) and includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
