Responsibilities

  • Assist and train Pathology Residents in gross room techniques
  • Gross/microscopic photography
  • Hospital clinical laboratory
  • Macroscopic description of gross anatomic features
  • Masters degree
  • Obtain/Review patient clinical information (ex. Scans, X-rays, Lab results)
  • Performs gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens
  • Performs gross examination and dissection of small biopsies
  • Prepares tissues for histological processing
  • Radiography
  • Sectioning surgical pathology specimens
  • Specimen fixation
  • Specimen receipt and labeling

Requirements

Experience: 1.0 year(s)

Certifications: ASCP - PA

Qualifications
