MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care assignment in Monterey, California. The position starts 10/19/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts (flexible).

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients as they wake from surgery until discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia.
• Treat inpatients and outpatients according to their individual needs.
• Administer diligent care via continuous monitoring, assessment, intervention, and reassessment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
