ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Elmira, New York.
Specialty & Schedule

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 40
- Shift: 8 hours, evenings
- Schedule: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing and systematic assessment/data collection focused on the physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status of patients.
- Utilize the nursing process to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Monitor patients post-operatively in the PACU for various procedures including orthopedic, neurosurgery, general, thoracic, podiatry, and GI.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Completion of a degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a PACU or similar acute care setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
